AITA for not wanting to hang out with my suite mates? everytime we’re all together they give each other strange looks when i talk. and they always ask to get dinner together and i usually blow them off and go somewhere alone. i wont even talk to them.
How did the relationship start? This is (obviously) far from ideal for people you live with, even if you don’t mind being alone. These types of things seem large when not addressed but I bet an open conversation about this would solve a lot of

it started out really well actually! and then i went away for a weekend, and when i came back they seem like they would rather not talk to me. and it feels like they have been irritated with me quickly. i’m really not sure why

Yeah that sucks, I had a similar situation happen to me. The reason I say you should try to talk to them is because A. They probably feel the tension too and probably don’t like it either, and B. The issue is likely something dumb that got blown out of proportion

My roomate actually moved out on sorta bad terms and when we reconnected a few months later we realized that the “beef” we thought we had was really just a mole hill turned into a mountain
