I work a lot and need the money so I’m rarely available when people make plans and want me to call off and join. But on the rare occasion I AM off (on Halloween none the less) suddenly no one wants to get back to me? Am I crazy for being upset about that

i mean i wouldn’t say ur crazy but they probably all made their own plans because they got used to you saying no yk? not saying it’s right but ik it happens

I’m not upset by the idea that they made plans I’m upset that no one even got back to me. And I did find someone to go out with some and they bailed last minute

i guess what i’m saying is you’re totally valid for prioritizing your work and financial health however it’s also expected that connections and friendships are lost when someone starts putting all their energy into something that doesn’t involve them yk? you did nothing wrong but technically the first friends didn’t either (the second ones who bailed are dicks on their own tho)
