But also, some people just forget dates. If I were you I would bring it up to the people I trust and tell them that the fact they didn’t remember made me really sad. Both my parents forgot my 16th birthday and I realized if I want people to remember I need to bring it up A LOT for the 2-3 weeks before. If someone asked “how are you” I’d say “great it’s my birthday next week and I’m super excited!” I still do that to this day. If people know like a week before they usually remember to celebrate
