Charlie had pretty fucked up views, I guess him being dead could help in some ways, but this is objective that the way in which he died will cause me harm to our country. An assassination like that will only lead to bad things. If youre celebrating him dying because you know he wont spew hateful rhetoric anymore, all power to you, but if youre celebrating a man getting assassinated in front of thousands of live cameras, then youre psychotic.
I think losing a parent is traumatic, but letâs not pretend he was a good father He said if his 9 year old daughter got graped, he would force them to carry it to term. And he was a racist while supremacist that wouldâve made his kids just as evil. But Iâm sure his widow will just find another white supremacist to raise their kids
Also doesnt matter if hes a bad father, saying him dying is good for his kids just shows your idiocy. Losing a father, no matter how bad, in THAT way is going to be traumatic doesnt matter which way you put it. We dont know if he had done bad things as a father if he were still alive, but we do know that his kids are most likely traumatized from what just happened. They dont have to be traumatized because a good father (good being hypothetical) died, its traumatizing anyways.
i didnât say i disagree? i do agree that we should keep the 2nd amendment, it keeps us safe in our homes, itâs idiots that donât know how to use them that are the problem. itâs people who use them for evil (like kirkâs assassin) who are the problem. not the advocates like charlie kirk.
i have watched it! he was talking about trans people and gang violence! both parties that have shown many reasons as to why they should not be trusted with guns. he was never âfineâ with giving them guns, he just felt we would be put in a worse place if we took away the right to owning guns. most people doing the killing illegally own these guns, so the 2nd amendment does nothing for them. they would have the gun either way.
and that makes sense until you realize that nearly the entirety of europe, which has gun control laws, has gun death rates at a substantially lower rate. what evidence is there that nothing would change if we created laws around guns? if there is such, i would be happy to look into it
My only concern is that the guns are already here. Those who would commit atrocities with them are not just going to say âawe shucks guess itâs time to give it upâ. Especially since most gang members (since thatâs one of their examples ) guns are unregistered. Now it would just leave people using them for actual defense, defenseless
Topic was gang violence before he was killed right? He probably would have brought up facts you donât care to hear. Is it racist to say black people kill other black people disproportionately more than any other race on race crime? Or that black homes have been fatherless for decades? Or that religion is no longer providing structure for at risk youth? These are not racist statements they are factual and statistically supported, and probably would have been his response.
It wasnât âschool shootingâ it was âmass shootingsâ. The question from the crowd was âDo you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years?â âToo manyâ and then follows with âDo you know how many mass shooters there have been in America over the last 10 years?â. If anything the crowd goer was angling for him to bite on trans hate, not racial. Charlie was not a racist.
âBlack people kill a lot of people tooâ okay so they should also be in jail⊠gang violence isnât on the news because it âisnât worth it because it happens so oftenâ we still hear about school shootings and the white perpetrators that commit them. Saying âblack people also kill a lot of people in mass tooâ does what?
Like if you asked me how many car accidents happen in a year, Iâd probably ask you including drunk drivers? Or if you asked me how many cars are sold in a year, Iâd ask including new or used? When there are so many variables, ESP w mass shootings being 80% give or take of mass shootings why would u not differentiate?
adding the context of the previous question on trans shooters, asking abt gang violence counting would allow him to prepare rebuttal for the trans issue. If you count them, the number of trans shooters is way less. But if you donât, it might be noticeable enough to make a point about.
Not noticeable enough? You must not understand âper capitaâ. According to the FBI thereâs roughly 2.8 million trans people in America and their shooter per million is 1.071⊠whites make up 192,000,000 roughly and shooter per million is .167. Making that roughly 10x more likely a shooter is trans comparatively to whitesâŠ
Updating the investigation into Charlie Kirkâs assassination Sunday, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox told NBC Newsâ âMeet the Pressâ that the suspect was in a romantic relationship with his roommate, who is cooperating with authorities. âWhat we have learned specifically is that this person did not have any knowledge, was shocked when they found out about it,â Cox said of the roommate. That person âis a boyfriend who is transitioning from male to female,â Cox said, misgendering the roommate -NBCâŠ
A) any amount of children murdered is awful⊠just because the lives lost is less than another category we donât care abt them? B) you fail to realize âper capitaâ⊠a small fraction overall in shootings sure, but shooters within the trans population comparatively is alarming.
