You shouldn’t drop someone for just voting differently, but you should drop them if their individual political beliefs severely clash with your fundamental ones.
Especially because the last pres. election had no truly strong candidates on either side.
This is why I just don’t talk politics with friends, it’s not that deep

I did however drop one friend who believes that abortion within the first trimester is automatically murder… because that becomes a problem when she wants to take away threats of other women to make their choices

I don’t think politics should play much, if any, role in your friendships. A lot of y’all care way too much about politics that will literally never affect your life.

i might’ve agreed with this ten years ago but not anymore. if you’re still supporting what trump is doing to this country and the people in it, you’re already actively against my fundamental beliefs.
