Ion think this is even an AITA situation. Mom is looking out for your future because she isn't necessarily wrong especially if you're trying to get into certain careers but you also aren't wrong for wanting to be your true authentic self not wanting to change that for anyone

depending on the job your moms unfortunately right. but hey, try it out there’s nothing stopping you from cutting it again if you start struggling to find work. Nobodies really the asshole here you’re trying to express yourself and your moms just worried.

It won’t make you lose jobs but the job market is so bad right now that recruiter might filter you out on basis of hair.
