not at all, it’s silly to prioritize and adult birthday party over a really important time in ur life. sounds like a last minute control-freak type of moment… i would really explain that you can not reschedule it because of the events you signed up for and that it’s important to you that you move in on saturday.

added context: I have programs I signed up for that start the day after I’m supposed to move in and she knows that + her reasoning on why she can’t miss said party is because it’s her friend’s birthday party and she already said she was goin
