I don’t know if that’s being an asshole per se but I can definitely see why someone may have a negative reaction to finding something like that out

Honestly i do the same thing. But i possibly have bipolar and my birth giver ruined my sense of trust at a very young age. Mental health stuff also runs very strong on her side of the familyz

Yeah, and I wouldn’t blame any of them for it either. I do this sort of thing to protect myself from being hurt. I don’t know why I feel like any of them would though since none of these people have, yet I can’t really trust anyone. No matter how badly I want to build a connection with the ones I love, I just keep myself apart from them.
