Shady as hell. Like if it was a pretty name I'd get that, my mom gave me my name because she had a friend with the name and liked it. But he's very adamant that she shouldn't know the true origins of their kid's name and that I can never bring up his ex. So obviously the mother of his child doesn't know that her kid was named after her man's ex which I'm sorry is just weird why are people so okay with that???

you wbta if you DIDNT tell her. this information no longer belongs to you, it belongs to the people it involves. furthermore if he’s still thinking ab his ex he could go on to be an awful father and both the wife and child would suffer

nta and if i was the woman id like to know, it might suck but me personally itd be something i could move past but id still like to know and its shady of him to have kept it from her. (coming from someone named after a dads exs family member too)
