Sounds like abuse. My mom was like this. I’m not gonna give my life story or tell you to tell her off like I did, but if you’re a legal adult you need to start building yourself up as one and stand your ground, stand up for yourself. She can’t make choices like that for you anymore.

Alternatively just don’t say anything, yk, kinda like the people that say don’t tell anyone what you want to name your baby until you’ve named the baby. Cause they’ll all want to impose their opinions and it’s just not your responsibility to give a shit
