Make fun of the distance I have with my boyfriend (2hours at school I don’t have a car and then 7 hours when im home) and I get super upset bc obviously distance is hard no matter the distance and there’s no point in making fun of my distance when you’re going through the same thing and my best friend asks him to apologize which he doesn’t so I pack my shit up and leave the room we were in? She got upset and said that I left her and I didn’t need to take it out on her

yea no u set up clear boundaries abt respect and she can’t be upset because her man is the one being disrespectful. doesn’t matter if she told him to apologize it’s the fact that he didn’t. walking out is the best move because otherwise he’ll jus keep feeling comfortable treating u that way

You just weren’t tolerating his disrespect. There isn’t anything wrong with that, you weren’t doing it to escape her or leave her, it was about him. If she wanted you to stay she could have told him to cut it out or she’ll hang up and follow through with it

okay yeah this is what I thought my thought process was because i told her it’s her boyfriend not her bc I don’t want to feel like my feelings are invalid because of a man I barely know. Idk and she kept defending him it just sucked idk what to even say to her
