You are never the asshole for holding family accountable. My dad made a nasty comment about a woman and played it off because "I'm his son now" (trans man). I told him off and we got into a big fight because I will not let him think I'm gonna look down on woman now that I'm a man. Sure blood is important, but how important are they when they're constantly bringing negativity and hate?
