It’s people who genuinely believe they did nothing wrong but are finally getting called out for their shitty behaviour and can’t handle that (and possibly want reinforcements to go “see told you”) or people who really didn’t do anything wrong but they’ve had to play peace keeper their whole lives and don’t know if this specific issue is worth it (and want some reassurance they’re not doing anything wrong cause lord knows they won’t get it from the people telling them they’re an ass)
