Ehh not necessarily what if she likes a different type of workout. I know my girlfriend isn’t vested into weightlifting like I am, but she loves group fitness classes like cycling, Pilates, dance and running groups. You can’t force someone to be into a type of fitness that’s not for them.
I guess that’s why I get self conscious bc she will tell me “hey I’d like to go with you and be more active to lose weight” and I’m like ok awesome great i love when you come and the sessions are good but then she will have bad eating habits which is again fine by me but I feel confused bc I’m trying to help her reach her goal and I feel like I can’t say anything bc I don’t want to say the wrong thing bc I know how bad body dysmorphia can be and don’t want do perpetuate it
Well that’s when you gotta ask her and get her to open up about what kinda things in the sessions does she like to do and see if there would be another type of workout that would better suit her that she could stay consistent with. As for food I can’t help, my girlfriend meal preps most of our food and then she makes me cook with her which I lowkey kinda enjoy unless you want to start trying that to curb bad eating habits.
