AITA? A plus-sized girl approached me a bar while I was with a few friends. I turned her down politely saying I had a girlfriend (which I do). then she starts yelling at me saying stuff like “why the hell is my weight such a problem?” And causes a scene.

No. I don’t know what else you could have said that would have made her happy. Out of respect for your gf, what you said was the right thing. She’s projecting her feelings about herself onto you. If she was secure in her appearance, she would’ve believed you and been cool with it. The most conventionally attractive woman could approach a single guy and still get turned down, and it wouldn’t mean there’s anything wrong with her appearance. Nobody is owed a “yes”.
