aita for being upset that my best friend missed my birthday dinner bc she’s going out of town in a few days & still hasn’t packed? she travels regularly & always does everything last minute, so i don’t think that’s a valid excuse for missing my dinner

she knew about her trip for a while now. and the dinner was planned a week in advance. i know that’s not too much notice but at the same time, my birthday is the same day every year so idk 😭 she initially told me she was coming and then changed her mind last minute

I mean if she had work or school or something it’s easy to put off packing until it’s too late. Reasonable for you to be annoyed but I doubt it was intentionally disrespectful on her part.
