Here’s the thing. We aren’t friends with that woman’s daughter. The daughter has been an awful friend in the past. Idk if the daughter just isn’t there to help or if they just need that extra help. This friend also only really seems to text me when they need help/information, never to hang out. I also know that I will be moving most of the heavy stuff bc she’s “just a girl/baby”. She’s 20. I don’t want to wake up on my day off at 6am to go help someone I barely know anymore 2/2

Extra info not related to this specific incident about the factors at play: I work as a vet assistant and wake up a range from 5:30-7am during the week day, work 10 hours. Some of the info the friend has gotten from me has been to use as a way to get out of work. Basically she called asking if a dog eats grapes do they need to go to the vet, I told her yes and was worried about her dog, then she said she was going to tell her work bc she forgot she worked that day and didn’t want to go in.

Like, I legit don’t know why we’re helping this person. I don’t know why her kids aren’t helping and why she’s being called upon to help when this person‘s kid was awful to us when we were all in middle school/high school. I know that might be a bit petty, but this person was just terrible and manipulative and just not decent to be around.
