I mean thats definitely shitty of your friends but Id need more context on like how long they didnt contact you, how long youve been sick, if youre sick frequently, etc etc to make an opinion on if its worth an argument or someone necessarily being an asshole

Feeling upset that your friends didn’t check up on you whereas someone else (who it sounds like you might’ve known for less time) did in fact do that is totally valid. Agreeing with #1 though that some context would make it easier to form an opinion

Eh, people get sick all the time and if they were out partying it’s kind of assumed they aren’t going to be on their phones worried about people they aren’t with. No one is obligated to check in on you, even if it is nice. Some ppl just don’t think like that. Especially like what were they meant to do? Ask how you were, you say bad, and then what? They couldn’t do anything for you
