AITA? My girlfriend graduated with her PhD, but now wants to be referred to as doctor. And officially on documents I do, but she wants to be called “Dr.” She said I can still call her sweetheart, but I have to call her “Dr.Sweetheart” is this stupid?

I’m positive thats a passing thing and she just is excited about accomplishing something so huge. She just wants you to be excited about it too and proud of her and acknowledging that she’s now a doctor in something

She is a doctor, just the PhD kind. If you were to refer to her professionally you would refer to her as “dr.whateverlastname”.
