if you’re older than 18, your parents can’t REALLY dictate what you do… i would just tell them you’re going, rather than asking them if you can go. sometimes you have to put your foot down for your parents to understand that you’re an adult now (signed, a 20 year old with strict parents lol)

If it’s within driving distance from where you live: you can share that you’re hanging out with them two days in a row, if it even gets to that tbh If they have your location: there are other ways where you can work around that tbhh But honestly… See what works best for you, this situation, and be the best person you can be. Definitely try to take those small steps into freely choosing how to move throughout your personal life! -a 23 year old who was never allowed to date until college
