Something I learned in therapy is to be forward, if she didn’t ask for money, don’t feel bad for not offering it, if she wanted it she would have communicated it, instead of hinting, perhaps those weren’t hints and you just took it the wrong way, which is why clear communication is important. Don’t send her money
