You’re not the asshole, but this has some misogynistic tones. What Taylor NEEDS to realize is writing an entire album about being white and powerful and feeling insecure about your husbands POC ex and using AI to write half the lyrics on top of it being a lot of self callouts on being friends with people who were “cancelled”(a lot of the people she is referencing are people with SA allegations) and also using her private jet everywhere. I feel the same about any and all celebrities who use jets.

I don’t like her most recent album lyrics either, but I think it’s because she’s chronically millennial and she’s had to suppress most of it in her music till now. She said that tloasg is the album she always wanted to make.

“did you girl boss to close to the sun” was a viral tweet by cadence ownens towards taylor swift. she’s quoting her. also, why are we acting like when you get older you can’t still talk about high school? it’s normal. it’s also the last period in her life before she was super famous, so of course she’s going to reference it a lot.
