YES oh my god. I’m supposed to still be chill with my abusers just because they’re also my parents? I don’t think so. If that relationship wasn’t strong enough to give them second thoughts about hurting me the way they did, then it sure as all hell ain’t a reason to forgive.

When I tell ppl that my dad and stepmom literally emptied my bedroom, threw my stuff to the curb, and then called the cops on me, while also telling my other fam horrible lies about me, but then say “but you’ll make up with him eventually, you need to let that go” like nahhh they are cut ✂️ out of my life FOR GOOD

currently going through no contact with both of my parents. the amount of times i hear “but those are your parents”. BUT IM THE KID and i never should’ve been treated in that way.
