Yeah no, you could maybe attempt to justify “edgy humor” ( I imagine he would try to justify it that way), but that’s immature, and embarrassing. Edgelords are not funny, they are 10-15 years old, and if a Man, as in adult, still thinks that’s funny, that’s both embarassing and concerning. But also, being desensitized to that sort of thing, and saying that knowing you are a victim, is nasty, sometimes people treat you based off of what you tolerate, don’t date people like that

My family had Easter early this year and my uncle whole heartedly believes in rule by force tried to convince me. The trumpers learn to articulate their view points but they aren’t articulate. Nah girl run. He’s obviously okay with making you uncomfortable and I don’t like that in general, but making rape jokes is extra fucked up. It’s not a funny topic, and it’s concerning that the subject of rape doesn’t make him uncomfortable at all.

Long-term SA survivor here. Break up with him. If you have talked to him about your boundaries and he isn’t respecting it, think about your future with him. If he can’t do it now, he will push boundaries later and do something detrimental to your relationship. Keep your peace.
