i have friends that voted differently n i can understand that even tho they voted for who they did they don’t align w that. js cuz someone voted for one out of the 2 terrible ppl running doesnt mean they’re a terrible person or support their decisions outside of office. this is so immature lol

Kinda immature of you. I have friends that are republican even though I don’t agree with them. And there’s no issue of human rights; they don’t think gay people should die or whatever lol. They think being gay and trans is weird, maybe, which I am on the opposite side of, but we can still be friends.

Not always bc me and my best friend vote differently but can politely agree to disagree and not make it a big deal

I’m glad for you but many people do not have the privilege to be comfortable around someone voting against their rights

Many people choose to think of politics as black and white while others understand the government created two parties to keep citizens divided instead of realizing both parties should be looking inwards at the elites causing all the chaos which include both sides…

Yeah that’s cool we aren’t talking about parties we’re talking about being bigoted

The media mainly posts controversial and negative articles to pose people against eachother by getting them angry “in the name at justice” then setting them against others like their neighbors when they really have no responsibility for the incident. Then people choose sides and it’s never the side of having humanity because you believe stereotypes of the other but hate when you feel stereotyped

even if that’s the case, the government under republicans is actively taking away my medical rights as a trans person. I am actively being harmed and could not be around someone who was ok with sacrificing me for whatever excuse they made

they think it’s ok to make us second class citizens, or at least don’t care enough when it happens. in at least one state it’s legally sanctioned to actively discriminate against trans people.

discriminate against trans people in the workplace* which is in fact infringing on human rights. why do you vote if you don’t think it’s insanely important

upvote 5 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> #13 6w

They don’t “actively discriminate.” They just think it’s weird and they don’t get it. I am on the other side because I was close friends with trans people and I strongly support them. Some of my current friends come from a very different place, that is all.

the government they voted for is actively discriminating against me lmao??? if they’re ok with decreasing the quality of life and life span of myself and people like me then they can eat shit. life-saving care is being taken away and you think it’s not active discrimination

yeah so several of my friends literally aren’t allowed to use the bathroom at their Uni’s. they have to drive home. that’s not the case for mine yet, but it doesn’t feel far off.

ur insane if u think trans people get discriminated lol please give me ways how… & please be sure to include the times trans people got discriminated against with other presidents as well. it’s already illegal to discriminate against trans people in the work place anyways lol idk why u think trump being president suddenly means america is racist and shit… we’ve always been like this regardless of president

I’m not entertaining someone who’s clearly ragebaiting, you’re criticizing trans issues by bringing up other forms of discrimination, which takes away from both. if you genuinely think that what you’re doing is ok then I hope you’re a unique case. btw Ik you’re just gonna start screaming again instead of spending 15 seconds looking up “Iowa trans right bill” so go ahead and look even more stupid
