If someone I was dating felt uncomfortable asking me for something that simple, I’d want to make sure we had a full conversation about articulating our desires. That’s the optimist in me. It shouldn’t be a hard task though idk why you would get dumped over it. I mean my best friend and I have texted each-other Gn for years even with bfs so it shouldn’t be hard. Honestly if they do I don’t think you should sweat it because it won’t be what you are looking for :)
