I like the message of it because you realize how deep the pain within the loop is. I contemplate the loop a lot and it makes the characters’ suffering so much worse

gotta remember that whatever comes from the worm is based on the desires and beliefs of the people who interact with it, like ymir felt small and couldn’t fight back against the soldiers, fritz believed that eating would transfer powers within his lineage, and the 13 year limit came from ymir’s early death. titans probably aren’t inherent to the god thing, they were the result of the people and circumstances of the time shaping their world

I love the ending. It was never set up for a happy ending that’s how our world is the story was made to mirror our own world. Everyone wanted the cycle of war to stop with WWI then WWII and today we still have war. Why would there world have been any different?
