‘Anime’ is the term for Japanese animation, so calling stuff ‘French anime’ makes no sense whatsoever. There are actually terms for Chinese and Korean animations too and you don’t call those anime. It’s weird to call western animations Asian terms just cause they were inspired by Asian culture (like avatar)

That’s why I said “Anime adjacent” for Avatar and yes the term “French Anime” was wrong but it close to Anime in my eges
