They’re only a minor if they’re actually underage but (I hate this term but idk what else to call it) minor-coded characters do exist

Komugi in HxH is my example. People argue that she’s older cause she’s a gungi player, but her mannerisms and designs are so childish that I can’t help but view her as a child. Whereas Meruem is 2 weeks old, but is portrayed as a grown adult so that’s why I can’t ship them

Looking like a minor can be subjective and sometimes characters get mislabeled as “Loli” (Rebecca is NOT ONE OF THOSE EDGERUNNER PROMO TEAM) but the 4 criteria in order of importance are: How old does the character LOOK, How are they behaving (i.e are they acting childlike), how are they dressed, how old are they.

I mean adult body childlike mind and child body adult like mind are both disgusting. 90% of time they are like this just for fan service or to attract viewer attention.
