iv heard that the ending to tokyo ghoul is terrible, is this true? i’d like to give it a watch i like the style but i dont want to start something and get into it if im gonna be disappointed.

I can’t speak to the manga as I only just started reading it. It’s not a bad ending for the anime…. But it will feel like there’s a bunch of loose ends. It’s one of those chaos wrapped in a ribbon type is my description. It starts off really good and then you’re gonna be like WTF is happening and then it’s gonna be slightly entertaining but confusing, and then you just accept there’s missing pieces but other things are like okay about it I guess?

The RE: seasons genuinely feel so messy as an anime only watcher. I really tried to understand it but it felt like so many important plots or parts were cut before I ever heard that it actually was messed up compared to the manga

First season of anime did ok, thereafter was terrible. Manga > anime on this one by a long shot

i like to say it’s aot before aot. i like eren but the main character is much more likable imo.

aot is one of the greatest of all time. i’m not a hardcore glazer of it, but if it was a written book, every school in the world would read it in english class. absolute classic. you’ll fall in love with it while your heart gets ripped apart lol
