I see where you’re coming from but I can’t really blame them. It’s unfair tbh

It’s one of, if not, the most anticipated anime adaptation of today. People have been waiting for this for almost a decade. And it’s currently getting the worst treatment I’ve ever seen for an anime by a company that quite frankly doesn’t care about the fans and wants to ride the hype train for as long as they can. So yeah, I’d be pretty pissed too.

What's Netflix supposed to do about the SBR team not being ready to release the episodes yet? Genuinely, how is that their fault?

First of all Netflix definitely has the resources to get steel ball run out in time in order to complete the project in a timely manner since they have the ability to poop out movies and other anime’s every month Second, Netflix has a history of purposely delaying the releases certain shows, usually ones in high popularity, in order to “build up the hype” And third, even members of the steel ball run team have said on twitter that Netflix is handling the releases poorly and killing the hype

If Netflix was smart they would’ve done a weekly release and pooled the resources they put into other originals in order to ensure the project is completed before they start releasing episodes. The worst thing is that they are keeping the community in the dark, yes I know we got a teaser for the second episode, however no expected time of release other than the next 8 months is weak

So you want Netflix to rush the production? I’d rather wait for them to make a high quality animation that the fans are deserving of, then end up with another OPM situation

I get the complaint about just waiting to air the first episode until the rest were ready, but now that it’s already happened, yelling at Netflix every day to rush the rest is just annoying and unproductive
