Ummmm kinda? In the anime, she leaves with him and that is when it ends. But in the manga, She’s with him for awhile and then they are separated at the end of the manga. The anime doesn’t cover all the manga. I guess in the anime it only says he’s her brother. So the folks who only saw the anime never knew he was more than that

I highly encourage it. It’s as dark of a romance that you can find with mainstream manga. It’s still really cute and sometimes it makes you giggle and kick your feet. It has a very complex story too and it’s a love polygon. Great manga.
