I never said that. OP said they met more real life fans of those than SL while solo leveling reach way more of the general audience. I do like those shows more than solo leveling.

I genuinely have met more people who had heard of and liked Frieren more than I have people who watched SL. I think SL hit the younger international market so that’s probably why

Not to say I dislike SL, but since it was SL season one being voted on in the awards, I honestly don’t think season 1 should’ve won since it was season two that people liked better. When 2026 comes around people can vote on season 2 and then it’ll make more sense. I’m pretty sure SL she most popular Manwha of all time though so this was bound to happen anyway lol

think about it. bc a show has a bigger following, then it makes sense that that’s the anime that won. honestly i’ve never heard a word about apothecary diaries or whatever the other one was that people were butthurt about, but i know for a fact that the dub voice overs in SL did better than 9/10 anime’s that i watch in dub. again, most likely another key factor in solo leveling winning
