loved it but the chimera ant arc drag soo much that i just stopped recommending it as a first anime 😂

I liked it but I agree with the other commenters, the chimera arc is way too long and as somebody who is terrified of bugs I couldn’t look at the tv for most of that arc(the ants are genuinely so fucking nasty) but besides that I think it’s a really good show. It’s not the best there ever was, but if you like shonen anime you’ll like hxh

I love the second half of the chimera ant arc (after the Ant takes over a certain location and meets Komugi—not trying to spoil). But yeah that first half took FOREVER to set up. I think Greed Island is my most hated arc. It’s a miracle that I even got through that one

yea i loved the second half more than the first half. i wouldnt say the chimera ant arc is bad rather than it feel like they took up half the show

I almost quit the show at greed island. They covered the system so thoroughly that I was so sick of it and I thought Gon chose the stupidest nen ability.

I agree with you. I still recommend HxH for first timers because all the seasons before greed island are good and the characters are very fun and dynamic and there isn’t much fan service as compared to other popular animes

naa i agree with gon choosing the worst ability ever 😭. i personally think hisoka and illumi have the best ones

Yeah Hisoka definitely has the most dynamic one. I love his so much and Illumi’s is really handy for his assassin job. I think Gotoh’s was an amazing ability too. Kinda like Hisoka’s but a little less versible. I am excited whenever Togashi reveal’s Ging’s abilities
