I love anime but gooner shit always ruins a great anime. Like fire force. Or Dan da Dan. Dan da Dan would be PEAK if it wasn’t for everybody losing their clothes all the time

Besides okarun being naked at one point and the entirety of the water episode. Dan da Dan is made to make you uncomfortable. It’s showing how turbo granny reacts to SA of young woman and how she tries to stop it as much as possible. I wouldn’t necessarily call it gooner material because they don’t throw boob and ass physics out the window for every scene or zoom into them like crazy. This is coming from a fellow woman watching Dan da Dan 🙋🏻‍♀️

I love Dan da Dan but I do agree with this. The first episode was kinda crazy considering the scene with Momo and the aliens. I love the show but my boyfriend couldn’t make it past that part.

I think that it is legitimately trying to say something just like Kill La Kill did but it really feels like a lose/lose cause a lot of those SA scenarios are drawn in such a way they just look like fan service

In the first episode we saw momo in her underwear. And those aliens main goal is to 🍇. It’s not as bad as some shows with “jiggle physics” or anything and it has its wholesome moments, but it is most definitely gooner material

Kill La Kill triggered me (SA survivor) so bad in the first episode that I never watched it again. It’s not like, the outfit that did it either. It’s the fucking adult man hovering over her unconscious body in an implied sexual manner (thrusting, grunting, etc). I don’t know why tf so many anime have to do this. I quit 3 in a row 1 episode in because of SA implications. Idk how Dan da Dan handles it because I am lowkey nervous to check it out.

That’s kind of what I figured based on what my spouse said about the manga. It’s okay, I’m only halfway through One Piece so I’ll have that to watch till I’m dead 😅
