As a one piece fan I just don’t understand the “300 episodes till it gets good” mentality. It’s great long before that, I fell in love with it episode 1. That 300 mark is just when it gets incredible. At the risk of sounding exactly like him though, I will say anyone SERIOUSLY considering getting into it should watch the first 44 episodes before making a final judgement. If you don’t like it at that point it’s just not for you.

Yea my bf is all about one piece but goddang it’ll be the longest anime I’ll have ever watched. I honestly don’t know if my attention span can take it but I don’t want to be mean

I kept on trying it til I got to around the 390s. I realized that if most people liked Enies Lobby/Water 8 and I hated those arcs, then I should just stop trying to watch the show. I really did try to like it, but yeah One Piece is just not for everyone
