I’m obsessed with mha but trying to rewatch the series is a nightmare for me because the flow of every fight sequence is the exact same from start to finish Heroes make a strong first push -> villains push back so hard it looks like the heroes will lose -> holy shit the heroes have the power of friendship and win You can apply this as early as the slime monster incident. All Might ohko’s him -> All Might loses him and Bakugou gets caught and is about to die ->

i have so many mixed emotions about who should’ve won. solo was amazing from season 1 but people slept on it. i think anime of the year should have been something that was new. Re:zero was amazing and it had more than 12 mf episodes, i think that would’ve been a better choice. or frieren, it had a great story

for real, im watching season 7 rn after i stopped watching the anime for a while and it’s just reminding me of how repetitive the lines are. like the same exact lines just get repeated and i know it’s in the case of watching episodes spread out but when binging it’s like to start a new episode i have to rewatch the last part of the episode i just watched and it’s just like okay i get it can we move along

i love the lore, and when they talk about the small details! the thing im mostly annoyed at is how repetitive the scenes get. they seem to jump around a lot and then have to repeat lines and recap scenes each time they switch. just doesn’t flow very well in my head. like i get invested in a crazy scene and then- oh! now we’re looking at this other side scene! it’s doing this a lot in s7 bc of the split up fights and trying to include all the chars, it’s just a lot imo 😭
