It’s not about goonability. It’s about how well ecchi can be integrated in the plot and Dandadan is ecchi just for the sake of it.

True ecchi is sacred. There’s a difference between dog shit cringe fan service and real ecchi. You can put a saddle on a donkey but it is still not a horse. There is no emotional depth to the fan service in Mushoku Tensei. True ecchi needs to be one with the soul of the story.

I do respect dxds commitment to ecchi and how it is interwoven with the plot. However I absolutely hate the plot. It is so brain rot that it really feels like it was written on a one word story channel on a discord server. I’ve seen way more substance in One Piece filler. I am also not a fan of the harem genre and dxd takes it to infinity and beyond. The MC must be committed to the game, not switching girls like it’s switching fortnite skins.
