So we don’t have to bring one down to say the other one is good😭
3 fights and 2 doses of back story that were crammed into an almost 3 hour movie vs 1h 40 of peak

All I’m saying is that one of these was significantly better suited for a movie adaptation while the other is the first in a series of 3 shameless cash grabs

😭me personally I don’t see it as a cash grab. I would like to see more of my anime shows as movies. Demon slayer consistently have movies coming out even though this is a bit different than usual. I appreciate seeing it in the movie theater. You gotta also think about the fact that demon slayer is a bit more digestible for a larger audience than chainsaw man. I haven’t seen the chainsaw man movie yet but I wouldn’t go on calling one slop.

I’ll go ahead and retract slop, but I still think it’s a shameless cash grab. Look at DS right now, it’s been a year since hashira arc concluded and we’ve gotten to the final stop. Spending 5 more years on 3 movies that come out 2 years apart without accounting for delays? That’s a lot of time to lose relevance. AOT wasn’t even that bad. This last arc would flow better with 1 more season and 1 more movie.
