That’s what I was thinking he was pushed to an extreme but I don’t think he was specifically evil it’s in a way like he lost his kindness after seeing how cruel the Marleyists were

Definitely agree with that too I think his actions with the rumbling was horrible and were evil I mean it’s genocide but I also believe there was a chance he could have been changed

He literally FOUGHT his own best friends and tried to kill them several times while they tried to convince him not too

Nah that’s valid but he didn’t have a lot of options and was also a child for most the story so trauma and poor decision making but I don’t think it makes him evil even if what he did wasn’t morally correct I would say the adults who held power are more evil

He CAUSED his own mother to be eaten, he turned his own dad into a slave of his, and he manipulated everyone he could

Easy to say for sure when we’ve lived such privileged lives in comparison but he saw a future where his friends could live long natural lives and that’s the decision he made be it right or wrong

I think he was just a man who was pushed to do evil things. Especially in that story, there is no general “evil” people.

Yea I feel like there needs to be a nuanced approach to Eren rather than treating him like hitler. When hitler bitterness came from a place that he thinks he is superior and all the experiments he ran on people was down right evil.
