I hate when anime fans complain that anime watcher (and not Manga readers) have a different idea of what’s canon when thanime and manga are literally BOTH CANON
The one I think I see the most is how Naruto and Sasuke kiss three times in the anime and only once in the manga. Both of those statements are simply facts and one is not more true than the other and yet people like to act like acknowledging the anime canon makes you a fake fan

In my opinion, whatever content that was written first is the only canon. In my opinion, there cannot be two canons within one story. So if the Naruto manga was written before the anime, then it’s canon that they only kiss once.

If the anime was ADAPTED from the manga, then the manga is the only canon. If the manga was adapted from the anime, then the anime is canon.

I’m just saying that canon (for the way that I’ve been using it) just means the true story. Like Tokyo ghoul S2 is non-canon because it shifts away from the OG story
