Personally, I love all of the character designs and plot-line so far! The author herself is alternative and you can see that shine through in some aspects. It also has pretty good character diversity which is kinda rare in some mainstream animes. The overall world building could also be seen as a metaphor for pollution and over consumption.

It’s pretty hard to summarize but this floating place called the ‘Sphere’ is incredibly wasteful and dumps all their garbage into this place called The Pit. We later find out that this is actually the Earth’s surface and people still live there despite its heavy pollution. Objects have spirit called anima and some turn into large trash beasts- but objects that are cares for can give their user a power of sorts. Essentially the mc is originally from the slums in the Sphere!
