Jojo’s bizarre adventure (get through part 1, sucks but worth it), neon genesis evangelion (the show and then the movie “end of evangelion” and then the build movies if you really want), promised never land, chainsaw man, persona 5 (but watch a playthrough or play through the game, the show isn’t the full experience), cyberpunk edgerunners, a silent voice (movie), jujutsa kaisen (watch jjk 0 the movie and then watch the show), parasyte, any studio ghibli movie

Full metal alchemist is better than everything listed. Vinland saga is also good too. If you want drama/ similar aesthetic to black butler- check out Gosick. Tora dora or Fruits Basket is good romance shows

If you enjoy fantasy settings, I’d recommend Dungeon Meshi and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. Black Clover is also really good, but it’s MUCH longer

I’ve never heard of night on the galactic railroad. I’ve seen older stuff like 12 kingdoms and vision of escaflowne and ranma 1/2 but never head of this. Lowkey thanks. U have good taste. I like older anime- any other reccs

If reccomend to read promised neverland becuase of how bad season 2 is. Season 1 is legit one of the best shows I’ve seen- not just anime shows. The art direction and music are amazing. But it feels like a gut punch to go from s1 to s2 so much so that I really reccommned to watch s1 then transition to the manga or just read the manga. S2 cuts some of the best arcs of the manga and it one of the worst anime seasons I’ve ever seen even worse than one punch man season 2

Magi is super underrated defo good picks. Make sure you preface this by watching magi first AND THEN si bad. Some people switch it around but u have no idea the context for the characters. I recommend order to watch magi in order of release: labyrinth -> kingdom -> adventures of sinbad. For chronological order: sinbad -> labyrinth -> kingdom. If you watch it in the chronological order, a lot of things might not make sense tho

Omg ty! Other recs off the top of my head: Urosawa’s Monster, Angel’s Egg, FMA 2005, Akira, Berserk 1997, Belladonna of Sadness, and anything Satoshi Kon’s worked on (will give a pretty big s/xual violence CW for the last 3 if you haven’t seen them)

It does fr fr. I love magi. Magi has such a good soundtrack and the animation is really good. But for first watch release order is better. Honestly if I ever get rich I wanna pay money to get the rest of magi adapted as well as remake soul eater since the ending is different in the manga. Oh but someone can only wish ig
