This is not directly to ur post but it’s related. My problem is not with the gay ships (I love gay ships) but the shippers who thinks any gay ship is better than the straight one. This is not directed to u b/c u didn’t say this. Like this person believed that shipping giyu and tanjiro is better than shinobi and giyu.

Like guys, let people ship what they want especially if it narratively makes more sense or is just more appealing. We don’t have to be hateful about who’s “right” and “wrong” especially if it’s hypocritical. If it’s sane and legal go for it

My problem is with the opposite. People that think any straight ship is better than a gay one. I genuinely hate both mindsets, it’s so stupid to think one type of couple is the default or “better” It’s a fictional couple, if the ship that makes more sense or is beloved is gay then it’s gay. If it’s straight then it’s straight. It shouldn’t be that deep..plus ew- Tanjiro and Giyuu? Creepy asf

A good example imo is Geto x Gojo being looked at as crazy by a lot of people and told that it’s forced even if it’s just a ship that really isn’t far fetched from what’s shown on screen..even if it was its just a ship. But people will say that ship is forced but then pretend like Orihime and Gojo is law and cannon when it’s not even remotely true just because it’s straight. The opposite would be like Deku and Ochako being hated for zero reason over Deku and Bakugou. Both are stupid

Plus I don’t understand fully getting pissed off over a ship. I’m a multi shipper anyway plus I usually don’t care as long as again it’s not weird pedo shit or incest. Some things I feel like don’t make sense but I’m not gonna throw a fit over it either, it’s not that deep 😭. I’m not gonna be homophobic about it either or fetishize same sex couples together or putting them apart.
