Fruits Basket? The 2019 one not the 2001. It’s a romance/slice of life anime but also SO cute, light hearted, and funny. I’d recommend it to anyone.

not saying black clover isnt good, bc it sooooo is, it’s just these past few episodes genuinely had me sobbing sm that my eyes burn. together we’ve watched gantz, solo leveling, and black clover. after we finish, we’re gonna take a small break from the action genre😭. if there are any “underrated” animes it would be greatly appreciated- esp bc hes been watching anime’s longer than i have. thank you.

Barakomon. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s only around 12 episodes but it’s fantastic and filled with so much love and passion that it is worthwhile. It’s all about rekindling your passion and making art for arts sake while being inspired by the world around you. It’s a great show that highlights the importance of community and that art isn’t just to be good but to be expression
