I think anime is easy to enjoy as a girl cause most of the dudes are relatively good looking in any anime. So if you’re a middle schooler girl seeing this good looking HS/adult boy in an anime then it’s easier to get into the show. That was just my experience though.

why is this controversial??? hot characters have always been a selling point in anime. take a look at the barrage of waifu bait every season and then tell me with a straight face that people don’t watch shows for attractive characters

Yeah I mean I was a teen girl who liked to watch attractive dudes when I first started out. At least I don’t watch shows for fan service or anything like that. I genuinely watch shows for the plot now and if they have pretty guys then it’s just another plus. We all have to be honest with ourselves here
