Yeah when making the list I did have to keep going back and catching myself because I half wanted it to be more objective on the quality of the stories but also my personal enjoyment does factor in but I think a lot of arguments can be made with a lot of my list except I hands down worship the genius writing of one piece and AoT I’ll accept people not liking them but they are objectively works of art

Black clover is amazing I can easily see it fitting into the top tier it has some of the best side character writing putting all of Naruto’s cast to shame and also it was just very fun and Asta is much more enjoyable as opposed to Naruto imo

AOT is amazing, i’ll give you that. the plot devices he uses in the manga he uses well. i wouldn’t be surprised if he wrote the story backwards but i don’t doubt he wrote it all the way through and then backwards again to add in symbolism and foreshadowing. i haven’t watched one piece and im not super interested to since i don’t like the power system and the general story but i may rewatch the new version that’ll be coming out which is shorter.

that’s why i love it! i always struggle loving side characters and black clover easily helps with that. black clover is heavily inspired by naruto, bleach, peter pan, as well as other fantasy disney plots.

i’m planning on writing my own novel (planning to make it a manga as i continue practicing to draw). if you have any suggestions with power systems relating to Gods, dimensional powers and higher ranked power pls suggest!!!

Thats so cool I hadn’t known about the Disney inspirations but I can definitely see it. One Piece is definitely a huge commitment but that’s the one that changed my life and in the same way AoT has the backwards writing it feels the same just insane set up and payoff. I am a backwards writer I’ve never written the first word before already knowing the ending and everything else is just getting there so I pick up on it a lot.

You could also try out the live action for one piece and also one piece is only so high because of its amazing story beats that do just take a long time to get to so waiting on the remake could be your best bet or just read the manga it’s very well done especially early on and see how you like it
