Tbf, Orochimaru was never really the true villain. I love when writers do this bc it forces you to go back and think about these characters and their actions like “Ok, ig I misinterpreted their role here now that I think about it”

And then Naruto lets this dude live IN THE VILLAGE, after the 3rd hokage calls him “not even human” in their fight to the death. And then, still has zero role in Boruto outside of his son. Like wtf kishimoto

Exactly, if it were up to me I’d have him take Kabuto’s place bc he needs a Zetsu body from obito and assists him with the edo army

I’d still say he’s a villain. He’s not nearly as sympathetic as characters like Pain or Itachi. Orochimaru basically did evil shit for the love of the game

This is true. I’d say he’s more of an antagonist than a villain since villain kind of implies evil evil but I see where you’re coming from
