As much as I hate incest trash in the later season of vampire knight, that show had me kicking my feet and the characters were VERY bold for Romance anime standards. So I kind of recommend that if you’re into more serious/gothic romances and only want to watch S1 or can tolerate the rest of S2.

Diablik lovers is not for the plot or the crunch sound LOL but vampire knight has the tensionnnn very good but I actually liked the plot on that one too. They are fun for different reasons.

Yeah I love the gothic aspect of VK. And the dynamics between characters are so much fun to explore. I actually read the full manga (cause the anime doesn’t cover the full story) and it gets so much more complicated and interesting in the manga.

Yeah it’s def a lot because the anime ends on ch 46 (end of S2) and the manga extends to ch 107. So there’s a ton that people don’t know and so many fun aspects to it. I definitely sobbed at the end, I will say 😎.

Yes I did!! That show probably holds the record for the most rants from me to someone else. I told my sis (who doesn’t watch any anime) all about the plot cause I was just so exasperated and the aspects of the anime was so new to me. I don’t usually watch cross dressing (for lack of a better word) or reverse harem animes so this show was such a new experience to me

Yes! I have yet to get to where the anime diverted from it at least. But the first season and the sub plot romance were still very good haha. The light novels im gonna read are apothecary diaries and 86
