Hot take, but Denji is basically just a horny teen and that doesn’t really appeal to me, personally. I understand this is from a writing perspective though, but if that’s the case, I would put someone like Kafka over Denji🤷‍♀️ decent list though

I lowkey agree that Kaneki should be lower. I didn’t really know where to put him. But I think Frieren is in the perfect spot for now. After season 2 she could be in the top tier.

People don’t understand denji at all, he is taken advantage of by people (namely women) who want his power the whole series and since he has never experienced being loved in his life he is easily manipulated, tragic character surrounded by loss and manipulation

And I understand that. I just think it’s poorly written. In shows like that, I feel like they typically get lost in catering to audiences that they forget the deep stuff. Which is why he isn’t my favorite, because they don’t handle the deep stuff very well.

You’re right, my opinion is my opinion. I just wish they fleshed it out more, not that his specific character was poorly written with what they had. I just think it would be better if they spent more time on that.
